Limited to the parts of a Tivoli Radio, I took on the task of designing a working radio. After researching design language in consumer electronics, I designed a radio that was classic and more feminine than modern electronics. I wanted to design a radio for the home, rather than something you hide behind cabinets. I explored the idea of different materials and found the qualities I was looking for in fabric. The radio case is made from all natural resources and turning the speaker face actually tunes the radio and there are two other knobs for volume and power. Oh yeah, and it all works.
